Waiter

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers with kindness and efficiency, taking orders and offering options or alternatives
• Receive, seat, and bid farewell to customers, providing cordial attention throughout the service
• Constantly monitor tables and service areas to remove dirty utensils and replenish necessary items
• Maintain clean and organized tables, stations, and service zones
• Serve food and beverages according to established standards, ensuring correct handling and presentation
• Verify that dishes, drinks, and canapés are in optimal condition and know their contents to guide customers
• Coordinate with the team in assigned service areas to ensure effective communication and replenishment
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including carpets, mats, bathrooms, and support spaces
• Proactively satisfy customer needs regarding quality, efficiency, and timeliness

Requirements

• Technical degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related fields
• Minimum 1 year of experience in exceptional customer service and food and beverage handling in fast-paced environments
• Intermediate or advanced English level for conversing with guests and explaining services/ingredients
• Knowledge of gastronomy, including ingredients and preparation methods
• Desirable knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, and LQA standards
• Ability to organize, plan, and communicate effectively with the kitchen and other staff members
