Waiter

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a personalized dining experience tailored to the restaurant's theme.
• Engage with guests to offer expert menu recommendations, including specialty dishes and beverage pairings.
• Answer detailed questions regarding ingredients, preparation methods, dietary restrictions, and allergens.
• Ensure high service standards by monitoring guest satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of seasonal menu changes and the stories behind unique dishes.
• Take accurate orders via the POS system and coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Serve food and beverages professionally, ensuring presentation meets established standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a waiter or waitress, preferably in a specialty restaurant environment.
• Deep knowledge of specialized menus, including ingredients and preparation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage guests with confidence.
• Ability to recommend wine, cocktails, or non-alcoholic pairings based on food selections.
• Ability to memorize and explain menu items in detail to provide an enriching guest experience.
