Wafer Test Engineering Expert

Responsibilities

• Design and provide test and characterization solutions for wafer testing to ensure rapid technology transfer and yield optimization
• Design suitable test chip structures for critical technology complexes and create test programs
• Analyze test failures to identify causes related to test conditions, technology, or circuit design
• Drive the problem-solving process and optimize test programs or designs in collaboration with specialist departments
• Act as the primary contact for mass production regarding reliability, quality, and yield optimization projects

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, or a comparable field
• Extensive professional experience in PCM or wafer testing or semiconductor device characterization
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology
• Fundamental understanding of current ASIC and MEMS technologies
• Proficiency in test programming, test content, and statistical analysis methods
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and C/C++
• Fluency in German and English
