V&V Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system validation strategies for autonomy modules including perception, planning, prediction, and localization for L4 trucking
• Build comprehensive and diverse datasets using both simulations and real-world data
• Partner with systems engineering teams to create validation test plans ensuring coverage across ODD and behavior
• Develop statistical and machine learning models to analyze historical and simulation data for safety performance evaluation
• Identify, develop, and measure performance metrics and report on evaluation results
• Build and deploy frameworks and pipelines to enable metric generation
• Support the generation of safety cases and release recommendation reports

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in ADAS or Autonomous driving
• MS/BS degree in Robotics, Aerospace, Computer Science, or an equivalent field
• Experience with ADAS, autonomous systems, and robotics
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards including ISO 26262, ISO 21448, and UL4600
• Understanding of ADAS/AV architectural design
• Experience with scripting and simulation tools
• Strong collaboration skills to work across teams, customers, and partner companies

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional work in autonomous vehicles, ADAS, or aerospace
• Project management and leadership experience within the AV industry
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python
