V&V Designer

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality validation campaigns for embedded railway solutions in real or simulated environments
• Design overall test architecture, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform functional testing using NI Test Stand tools at both subsystem and system levels
• Execute test sessions, produce detailed test reports, and investigate/resolve detected defects
• Specify, design, and validate test environments and tools
• Ensure test traceability and compliance with software, V&V, and safety processes
• Manage V&V work products under configuration management and collaborate with global cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Engineering (IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent)
• 4+ years of experience in the verification and validation of complex embedded systems
• Proficiency in testing with the NI Test Stand suite
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Programming skills in C, C++, C#, or Ada
• Familiarity with tools including Git, DOORS, and ClearQuest
• Knowledge of test life cycles, defect management, and debugging processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of safety standards such as CENELEC SIL4 or DO-178B
• Domain knowledge in railway signaling, avionics, or a similar engineering field
• Experience in requirement or functional-based testing on host and target-based environments
