About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted reverse engineering on embedded systems and software components
- Perform static and dynamic analysis to identify security weaknesses
- Develop and refine proof-of-concept (PoC) capabilities to demonstrate vulnerabilities
- Contribute to technical reports and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research into customer solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in cybersecurity research, vulnerability research, or reverse engineering
- Proficiency in Ghidra, IDA Pro, or Binary Ninja
- Proficiency in GDB or WinDBG
- Proficiency in C or C++ and Python
- Knowledge of *nix operating systems and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP)
- Active US Secret-level clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fuzzing frameworks like AFL++, LibFuzzer, or Boofuzz
- Experience with hardware debugging interfaces (JTAG, SWD, UART)
- Familiarity with defeating ASLR, DEP, and Stack Canaries
- Knowledge of WiFi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee standards
- Participation in CTFs or independent security research
