VRD/Earthworks Engineer - Nuclear Sector

Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify the consistency and completeness of input data
• Propose general rules for earthworks and VRD operations based on specified requirements
• Write technical notes for feasibility and preliminary design
• Contribute to the development of earthwork scenarios (excavation, soil management, backfilling)
• Perform or prescribe studies for temporary and permanent supports
• Perform or prescribe dimensioning studies for networks, hydraulic works, diversions, and roads
• Identify and manage technical and planning interfaces between services and works contracts
• Engage in technical exchanges with clients, project managers, and VRD referents

Requirements

• Engineering degree or university background in Civil Engineering, Geosciences, or similar
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical design or construction for infrastructure or industrial projects
• Proficiency in technical English (written and spoken)
• Technical expertise in Geotechnics, Earthworks, Networks, and Roadworks
• Proficiency in 3D tools, specifically COVADIS (indispensable), Mensura, or Synchro PRO
• Ability to obtain security clearance from recognized administrative authorities
• Willingness to travel occasionally within France or internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional technical experience within the nuclear sector
