About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead outbound sales efforts for SPACs and other event-driven opportunities to institutional investors, hedge funds, and family offices
- Prospect, pitch, and successfully onboard new, uncovered accounts to expand the firm’s distribution network
- Articulate complex event-driven strategies, sponsor economics, and SPAC mechanics to sophisticated buyers
- Work seamlessly with the broader SPAC syndication, capital markets, and investment banking teams to ensure successful deal execution
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in institutional equity sales, event-driven trading, or capital markets
- Deep, technical understanding of SPAC mechanics, de-SPAC timelines, and event-driven arbitrage strategies
- Proven track record in account origination and driving measurable revenue
- High-energy, self-starter mentality with the ability to build a book of business in an entrepreneurial environment
- Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 preferred
