VPS Trainee

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Valeo Production System (VPS) tools including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Standardized Work, SMED, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping
• Support the implementation and monitoring of VPS initiatives across production lines and operational areas
• Participate in workshops, training sessions, and continuous improvement projects
• Collect and analyze data related to production performance, waste reduction, and efficiency metrics
• Assist in identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality departments to facilitate VPS deployment
• Prepare reports and presentations regarding project progress and results
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Industrial, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or a strong willingness to learn
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Fluency in both Spanish and English
