VPC Education Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Support the recruitment and enrolment of students, including liaison with families, agencies, and service providers
• Provide daily practical support such as transport, attendance monitoring, and encouragement to meet study commitments
• Assist teachers in the VPC classroom by motivating students and facilitating engaging learning, sport, and group activities
• Coordinate and participate in community, cultural, and traditional games to strengthen student identity
• Contribute to the planning, delivery, and reporting of ASHE programs, including ASHE Day and ASHE Fest

Requirements

• Certificate IV or Diploma (or equivalent experience) in youth support
• Demonstrated experience supporting Indigenous young people and understanding community challenges
• Strong group facilitation skills and the ability to deliver engaging activities
• Sound knowledge of the Shepparton Indigenous community
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid Working with Children Check
