VP Transaction Manager (ABL)

Responsibilities

• Support the lending lifecycle, including loan closing, servicing coordination, and client onboarding for complex syndicated and bilateral loans.
• Manage a deal closing pipeline and coordinate lifecycle events, data capture, and documentation storage.
• Review Asset Based & Transitional Finance (ABTF) funding requests for accuracy, collateral availability, and compliance with credit agreements.
• Create and implement processes, standards, procedures, and controls for transaction management.
• Partner with originating business lines, credit risk, operations, and legal teams to ensure strategic goals and regulatory requirements are met.
• Lead projects to enhance performance, efficiency, and technology implementation within the group.
• Act as an escalation point for loan remediation and system testing or migrations.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft-based programs.
• Experience with Loan IQ or similar transaction capture tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage shifting priorities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Asset Based Lending (ABL) products.
• Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
• Experience in a management or team lead capacity within a large global financial institution.
• Deep understanding of wholesale loan products, including legal documentation and funding mechanics.
• Master's degree.
