About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement standard processes for third-party data lifecycle management.
  • Build and maintain high-performing relationships with third-party data vendors and internal partners.
  • Manage third-party data providers specifically for ESG, Index, Pricing, and Economy data.
  • Oversee vendor data quality, change management projects, and support requests.
  • Serve as a liaison between vendor SMEs, business SMEs, and Data Steward teams to manage capability roadmaps and issue tracking.
  • Profile and analyze data to ensure compliance with data quality policies and business requirements.
  • Design data quality checks and performance metrics to detect deficiencies in data sources or internal processes.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to innovate and deliver high-quality data solutions through robust management and delivery methods.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with large-scale data programs or managing data vendors.
  • Strong experience working with ESG, Index, Pricing, or Economy data.
  • Proven experience working directly with Data Vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated experience in project management, change management, and issue management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of financial markets and the broader investment landscape.
  • Ability to think critically about complex business challenges and deliver holistic solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data modelling to solve business challenges.
  • Proficiency in technical tools such as SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebook, or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML integration.
  • Experience working within an Agile development environment.
  • Ability to document detailed requirements and translate them into technical data specifications.
