VP, Technology Head of Delivery

Responsibilities

• Own the execution, reliability, and commercial performance of a complex, highly integrated, and regulated financial-services technology estate.
• Lead delivery across multiple segments, platforms, and vendor ecosystems, ensuring mission-critical systems are built and operated safely.
• Drive resolution and systemic improvement during major incidents, recovery efforts, and high-risk delivery moments.
• Shape and reinforce modern ways of working, including SDLC, DevOps, quality engineering, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Partner with Architecture, Data, Product, Operations, and Commercial leadership to align delivery with business priorities and regulatory expectations.
• Manage large vendor ecosystems, including commercial negotiation, performance management, and dependency risk.
• Oversee technology budgets and P&L inputs, managing cost transparency and investment trade-offs.

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience leading technology delivery in complex, regulated environments.
• Deep experience delivering and operating mission-critical systems in banking, capital markets, or similar high-availability sectors.
• Expertise in complex system integration involving legacy platforms, data pipelines, and external providers.
• Broad technical fluency across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and security.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale technology budgets and P&L responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of financial-services workflows, regulatory obligations, and operational risk.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience applying automation and AI-enabled engineering practices to improve delivery efficiency.
• Strong grounding in performance engineering, capacity planning, and resilience/recovery strategies.
• Experience managing large-scale vendor consolidation or exit decisions.
