VP-Structured Finance Methodology Development

Responsibilities

• Lead methodology development projects using Agile principles to create sector and cross-sector assessment frameworks
• Collaborate with Methodology Development Group teams, Credit Standards and Services, and rating teams to ensure analytical robustness
• Author formal methodology documents that adhere to internal standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare comprehensive submission packages for Methodology Review Group approval
• Drive process improvements to eliminate inefficiencies in methodology development
• Support ad-hoc quantitative and analytical projects as required
• Ensure all development activities comply with internal policies and procedures

Requirements

• 10+ years of credit analysis experience specifically within Structured Finance
• Strong quantitative skills and advanced analytical problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to author credit rating methodologies and familiarity with legal documentation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on logical, well-structured writing
• Demonstrated proficiency in AI concepts and hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance operational efficiency
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in economics, finance, business, or a quantitative field preferred
• CFA designation is a plus
