About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive measurable revenue growth through government contracting and adjacent market expansion
- Own the full growth lifecycle from market identification to contract close and expansion
- Manage and convert a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
- Lead pre-RFP capture activities including agency engagement and solution shaping
- Partner with proposal, legal, finance, and operational teams to develop winning strategies
- Identify and commercialize adjacent markets such as healthcare, workforce, and education
- Build revenue-generating partnerships with government agencies, primes, and nonprofits
- Lead and develop high-performing business development and sales teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of senior leadership in government sales or business development
- Proven record of closing state, local, or federal contracts
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
