VP Security Guardian, Product Security

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments using threat modeling, architecture reviews, and vulnerability analysis to identify design flaws and cloud misconfigurations
• Design and recommend embedded security controls, including identity and access design, cryptographic protections, and network isolation
• Drive down technical security risk by engaging with engineering teams to validate that controls are effective in production
• Partner with engineering as an embedded expert to influence design decisions early in the development lifecycle
• Provide technical security guidance to senior leadership, translating complex tradeoffs into actionable engineering decisions
• Apply expertise in domains such as multi-cloud security, Agentic AI security, blockchain, and software supply-chain security
• Integrate security into agile environments using DevSecOps, Shift-Left principles, and automated testing within CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with a focus on Product and Cloud security
• 3+ years of experience within the financial services industry
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Deep technical expertise in network security, data protection, cryptography, and offensive security techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC
• AWS or Azure Cloud Security certification
• Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams in an embedded security engagement model
