VP, SBA Specialty Finance Officer

Responsibilities

• Facilitate growth through business development and management of key client relationships.
• Structure complex specialty finance deals and secure credit approvals.
• Develop new business by contacting prospects and cross-selling Bank products, including credit, trust/investment, and cash management.
• Review loan applications and cash management service agreements to ensure alignment with risk management standards.
• Identify market segments and industry trends to expand client portfolios and drive strategic decision-making.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value strategic clients, providing expert financial advice.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance policies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Account Management, or Portfolio Management within a corporate or segmented banking environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Expert-level proficiency in financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in credit risk assessment, deal structuring, and portfolio management.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of significant revenue generation from sales and syndications.
• Deep technical proficiency in regulatory compliance and product knowledge within specialty finance.
