About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze credit information to support lending decisions and manage a portfolio of commercial banking clients within the Financial Institutions Group.
  • Negotiate loan structures, terms, and conditions that align client requirements with the bank's risk appetite and policies.
  • Develop comprehensive credit structures to meet the transactional needs of complex clients.
  • Conduct continuous portfolio monitoring, including covenant compliance, to identify and mitigate deteriorating credit conditions.
  • Perform financial analysis and risk assessments to provide insights and make informed credit decisions.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships in collaboration with Relationship Managers and business partners.
  • Identify revenue and cross-selling opportunities to enhance portfolio growth and optimize returns.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to credit policies, regulatory standards, and operational guidelines to minimize risk exposure.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in credit or lending instruments or financial operations within a corporate or banking environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Expert-level proficiency in loan structuring, regulatory compliance, and portfolio management.
  • Advanced skills in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a high level of attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex, non-routine financial situations and change management.
