Responsibilities

• Scale the engineering organization by designing team structures and operating systems
• Set the technical direction for embedded systems, mobile interfaces, and cloud services
• Architect, write, review, and debug production software across the entire ecosystem
• Build reusable software platforms and frameworks to reduce development effort
• Establish best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and release management
• Lead cross-functional execution between technical constraints and user experience
• Increase development velocity through tooling, automation, and modern workflows
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering team
• Partner with the CEO and hardware teams on strategic architectural decisions

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience
• Deep hands-on experience in embedded systems (C/C++, RTOS, Control systems)
• Experience in cloud-native, mobile, and UX engineering
• Proven track record of scaling engineering organizations from early stage to high growth
• Expertise in IoT ecosystems, including OTA updates and fleet management
• Experience with modern development practices like CI/CD and automated testing
• Strong technical judgment across React, Node.js, AWS, and C/C++
• Executive communication skills for partnering with CEO-level leadership
