VP of Product and Technical Strategy

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap across current and next-generation product lines, including variant strategy and lifecycle planning
• Drive technical product strategy by engaging in technical customer conversations regarding RF, DSP, and satcom requirements
• Lead product positioning and enablement by translating technical capabilities into market-facing narratives and briefs
• Build the product operating cadence to connect engineering execution with customer timelines
• Partner with the CEO and engineering leadership on portfolio strategy and build-vs-customize decisions

Requirements

• Deep technical fluency in RF systems, DSP, satellite communications, or Software Defined Radio
• Proven track record translating complex customer requirements into product strategy for hardware or technical systems
• Strong commercial judgment regarding sales cycles, proposals, and market positioning
• Ability to bring product discipline to an engineering-led culture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Entrepreneurial operating style comfortable with ambiguity
• Must meet U.S. Government export control requirements (ITAR)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience serving defense, national security, or space customers
• Hands-on background with SDR platforms, modems, waveforms, phased arrays, or ground systems
• Familiarity with government contracting and proposal processes (SBIR, BAA, OTA)
• Experience scaling a technical business from custom engineering toward repeatable product lines
