VP of Portfolio Management & Trading-Fixed Income

Responsibilities

• Manage the trading of fixed income products and active cash investments across the firm
• Lead strategic projects related to trading operations, portfolio implementation, and process improvement
• Own key deliverables to ensure timely and accurate execution across trading and operational workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Capital Markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with market makers, liquidity providers, brokers, and custodians
• Manage and mentor team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Maintain accountability for fund performance and adherence to investment objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
• 7+ years of institutional trading and portfolio management experience with fixed income securities
• Deep knowledge of Treasuries, Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), Municipal Bonds, High Yield, and other structured products
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and institutional trading, portfolio management, and order management platforms
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing projects, workflows, and team members in fast-paced environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ETFs, ’40 Act funds, or other regulated investment products
• Familiarity with portfolio implementation, post-trade operations, and fund workflows
• Experience working with authorized participants, custodians, and prime brokers
• Knowledge of trading-related regulatory and compliance requirements
• Experience with automation or programming languages such as Python, VBA, or SQL
• Proven track record of scaling trading infrastructure or investment platforms
