VP of Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across collections, hauling, facilities, inventory, and fleet management
• Develop operational strategy and scalable systems to support long-term growth
• Manage 5–10 direct reports including route supervisors and operational leaders
• Supervise fleet operations and implement best-in-class safety practices
• Manage operating budgets, financial plans, and key performance indicators
• Optimize operational gross margin through labor efficiency and route optimization
• Partner with sales and marketing teams on pricing and territory planning

Requirements

• Experience leading operationally complex environments (logistics, delivery, or supply chain)
• Proven ability to build and develop frontline leadership teams
• Strong understanding of how operational decisions impact P&L and financial outcomes
• Tech-forward mindset with ability to evaluate and implement operational tools
• Entrepreneurial approach to building processes in evolving environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-growth or scaling organizations
• Background in route-based businesses (e.g., UPS, FedEx, Amazon Logistics)
• Experience implementing new technology or operational systems
