VP of Mission Advancement & Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and Board of Trustees.
• Provide visionary leadership for development, membership programs, fundraising operations, events, government relations, and strategic partnerships.
• Drive the recruitment and retention of highly engaged Board of Trustee members to support fundraising goals.
• Develop annual fundraising, membership, and sponsorship plans with multi-year forecasts.
• Personally manage a portfolio of key major and planned gift prospects and lead all contributed revenue and government appropriation programs.
• Provide strategic, financial, and operational oversight to the Facilities and Human Resources functions.
• Design and implement strategies to build a diverse and inclusive workplace in alignment with the organization's equity and inclusion goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 15+ years of experience in developing and executing successful development strategies.
• 7+ years of experience leading and motivating professional teams.
• Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFRE or ACFRE designation.
• Proven track record as a top divisional or number two development leader within a large organization.
