VP of Legal & Compliance

Responsibilities

• Own group-wide compliance strategy across investment services, payment services, and crypto assets (VASP)
• Interpret complex regulatory requirements and bridge the gap between compliance and legal risk management
• Monitor global regulatory changes and assess business impact proactively across 25+ jurisdictions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators and represent the company in examinations
• Advise C-level leadership on strategic decisions, market entry, and product launches
• Partner with engineering teams to design and implement AI-driven automation for compliance monitoring

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in compliance with deep expertise in legal or regulatory frameworks
• Law degree or relevant legal qualification
• Proven experience leading compliance teams and managing professional development
• Extensive experience with investment services, payment services, or crypto/VASP frameworks
• Strong track record of managing regulatory relationships across multiple jurisdictions
• Ability to balance regulatory obligations with commercial pragmatism and business velocity
