VP of Finance

About the Company

eJam is a bootstrapped consumer products company that has built, scaled, and exited multiple brands without outside capital. We operate like a holding company with the speed of a startup, managing a portfolio of category leaders across Amazon, major retailers, and DTC channels.

Responsibilities

• Own financial statements at both brand and parent levels, including monthly close and reporting
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly reforecasts
• Serve as the financial partner in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
• Manage asset-based lending (ABL) relationships, borrowing base certificates, and covenant compliance
• Produce monthly and quarterly investor reporting packages
• Support M&A transactions, including Quality of Earnings (QoE) and due diligence
• Oversee tax compliance and external CPA engagements
• Lead the selection and optimization of the ERP platform
• Coach and lead the accounting and treasury team

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience in consumer products
• Hands-on experience managing an asset-based line of credit
• Experience supporting M&A transactions and due diligence
• Experience leading finance within an S&OP or Integrated Business Planning process
• Experience with national retail partners (e.g., Walmart, Target)
• Experience with ERP selection or implementation
• Team leadership experience in accounting and FP&A

Preferred Qualifications

• Subscription DTC exposure (Shopify, cohort analysis)
• CPA certification
• NetSuite fluency
