VP of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering function end to end, including execution, quality, reliability, and people
• Design and evolve the engineering operating model as the company scales
• Partner with the CTO, executive team, and Product to set technical direction
• Ensure predictable, high-quality delivery and reliability
• Hire, develop, and retain a strong engineering leadership team

Requirements

• Senior engineering leadership experience
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience across frontend and backend
• Proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations
• Experience hiring and developing engineering managers and tech leads
• Experience leading Frontend, Backend, and Reliability functions
• Ability to turn ambiguous strategy into clear, executable plans

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React Native
• Experience with Python
• Experience with data pipelines
