VP of Buying

Responsibilities

• Set the overall strategy and merchandise direction for the category to maximize performance and profitability
• Build seasonal assortments covering all channel needs and develop merchandising initiatives to drive growth
• Manage key milestones from adoption meetings to assortment plan and line finalization
• Provide market and trend research to leadership regarding product trends and opportunities
• Oversee assortment SKU plans and final product selection while ensuring costing goals are met
• Work closely with eCommerce and Creative teams to strategize marketing campaigns
• Manage department staffing, career paths, development, and succession plans

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Buying and Merchandising
• 7+ years of experience overseeing both creative and financial merchandising
• 5+ years of experience in team leadership, coaching, and mentoring
• Deep knowledge of product design, fabrics (drape, quality, use), and garment construction
• Proven experience with product fittings and trend forecasting
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze sales reports and data
• BFA/BA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field
• Ability to work onsite in Beverly Hills, CA
