VP KYC

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Bank’s KYC strategy across global capability centers (GCC) to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and business growth.
• Drive the centralization and optimization of KYC operations, establishing the GCC as a center of excellence for scalable delivery.
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders to define target operating models, including maker-checker frameworks and process ownership.
• Champion process transformation and digitization initiatives, such as workflow tools and data quality frameworks, to improve efficiency.
• Establish and strengthen a robust governance and control framework covering the end-to-end KYC lifecycle, including onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day KYC operations, ensuring effective capacity planning, workload prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Manage relationships with internal audit, compliance, and regulators to ensure timely closure of observations and remediation of control gaps.
• Provide high-quality management reporting and insights regarding KYC performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in KYC strategy development and operational oversight of the KYC lifecycle.
• Deep expertise in regulatory compliance and financial crime risk management.
• Proven track record in managing governance and control frameworks within a financial institution.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership across Business, Compliance, and Operations.
• Experience leading process transformation, digitization, and operational optimization projects.
• Ability to manage distributed teams and oversee service delivery through global capability centers.
