VP, High Touch Trading, Server Side Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve server-side systems that drive high touch trading workflows
• Design and maintain robust JVM-based systems supporting order management, trade execution, and real-time pricing
• Work closely with trading and product teams to deliver solutions for internal traders and external counterparties

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant development experience
• Excellent core Java skills
• Exceptional knowledge of concurrency, multithreaded programming, and JVM performance
• Knowledge of high-touch trading workflows (OTC markets, block trades, voice-assisted trading)
• Knowledge of Order Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a team
• Development experience in performance-sensitive environments like eFX
• Experience with fault-tolerant, high-availability, and distributed computing
• Knowledge of low latency messaging (e.g., Aeron, 29West)
• Code optimization and profiling capabilities
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Knowledge of Crypto
