VP, Head of Procurement

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute a long-term vision and roadmap for Procurement aligned to strategic objectives
• Design and implement scalable, end-to-end source-to-pay processes, policies, and governance frameworks
• Partner with IT to select, implement, and optimize procurement systems
• Lead complex, high-value sourcing initiatives including RFP development, supplier evaluation, and negotiation
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and functional leaders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
• Establish and standardize supplier selection, onboarding, and performance management processes
• Advance procurement-related CSR initiatives including sustainability and supplier diversity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 20+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in the biotech/pharma industry
• Extensive experience with ERP, MRP, and procurement systems
• Experience working in a global business with matrix management
• Proven track record leading complex, high-dollar value initiatives
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills in high-growth environments
