About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain critical technology infrastructure to minimize operational disruption.
  • Provide technical support for service management to resolve complex issues for specific client groups.
  • Execute preventative maintenance on hardware and software using monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze system logs, error messages, and user reports to identify and resolve root causes of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Drive automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, and service resiliency.
  • Identify and remediate potential service-impacting risks and issues through appropriate governance processes.
  • Lead and inspire geographically distributed teams, focusing on talent development and capability uplift.
  • Advise senior technology leaders and stakeholders on service risks and performance.

Requirements

  • 13 years of L2/L3 Application Support experience is required.
  • ITIL v3 or above foundation certification.
  • Deep expertise in Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Major Incident Management.
  • Proven experience in service resilience, disaster recovery, and regulatory resilience testing.
  • Ability to support Singapore business hours and participate in rotational on-call availability.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex, business-critical application estates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, MS SQL) for querying and data analysis.
  • Experience managing Unix/Linux environments, including server configurations and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and API-based applications.
  • Experience driving observability and GenAI-enabled service management.
