VP, Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and applicable reporting standards
• Manage disclosure controls, procedures, and support SOX compliance initiatives
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during reporting cycles
• Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple legal entities and investment vehicles
• Manage consolidation processes, intercompany eliminations, and supporting schedules
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting efficiencies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
• Strong SEC reporting experience (10-Ks and 10-Qs)
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement consolidation
• Experience working with external auditors and SOX environments
• Experience with complex legal entity structures and multi-entity consolidations
• Proficiency in financial reporting systems

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience within asset management, private credit, hedge funds, or alternative investments
• Fund reporting or investment vehicle reporting experience
• Familiarity with Workiva, Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite
