VP, Financial Administration - Retail Alternatives

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships for retail alternative products, including interval funds, BDCs, and REITs.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports such as 10-Ks, 10-Qs, N-CSR, and N-CEN.
• Lead a team responsible for BDC servicing, ensuring accurate XBRL tagging and EDGAR submissions.
• Draft and review financial statement footnotes, MD&A, and other required regulatory disclosures.
• Monitor and implement new accounting and regulatory pronouncements affecting closed-end funds.
• Manage department personnel, including hiring, training, performance appraisals, and professional development.
• Coordinate annual audits with outside auditors, clients, and printers.
• Oversee client budgets, billing, and the payment of fund expenses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of mutual fund administration or fund accounting experience.
• 5-7 years of management and leadership experience.
• Extensive experience with financial statement preparation for mutual funds.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Strong understanding of the Investment Company Act of 1940.
• Proficiency with financial reporting tools (e.g., Workiva, DFIN) and Microsoft Office Suite.
