About the Company

Vori is building modern technology for the grocery industry. The company serves independent and regional grocers with tools that help them run more efficient, data-driven businesses.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model end to end, including forecasting, driver building, and scenario logic
• Command unit economics, contribution margin, and payments economics across grocery, hardware, AI, and payments
• Co-lead fundraising efforts and design the forward narrative and capital structure for Series C and beyond
• Own the board financial package and represent the company to investors and capital partners
• Build and own the financial infrastructure and systems to drive clarity and efficiency
• Partner with Sales on enterprise deal strategy and Product on roadmap development
• Maintain a smart, automated finance stack to ensure rigorous operations with lean headcount

Requirements

• Hands-on startup VP or CFO-caliber finance leader with experience in high-growth, venture-backed environments
• Proven ability to build finance functions from scratch without large existing teams or mature systems
• Experience leading or co-leading fundraising processes
• Exceptional modeling, quantitative rigor, and FP&A skills
• Ability to act as a strategic counterweight to founders with high conviction
• High intensity, high IQ, and high EQ with a focus on rapid processing of complexity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex hardware economics (installs, logistics, support burden)
• Background in investment banking or venture capital
