VP-Finance

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function, including financial close, consolidation, statutory reporting, and audit across all entities.
• Establish robust accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance with US GAAP or Ind AS.
• Manage tax planning, filings, and transfer pricing for US and India operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning in partnership with the CEO.
• Build and maintain financial models, unit economics, and cohort-level P&L to drive decision-making.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing investors and prepare high-standard board materials.
• Lead end-to-end execution of debt facilities and equity fundraising processes, including negotiation and diligence.
• Optimize the company's capital structure and manage relationships with banks, debt funds, and equity investors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 14 years of experience in finance roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP or Ind AS.
• Proven track record of managing a finance function in a high-growth technology startup.
• Experience in the fintech or financial services industry is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CA qualification.
• Background in Investment Banking or from a growth-stage tech company ($25M–$100M revenue).
• Experience leading automation of accounting workflows and ERP systems.
