VP, Field Operations & Service Delivery

Runwise is a fast-paced, customer-focused climate-tech startup that controls and runs the key energy systems in 8000+ buildings throughout the US. Runwise’s unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop installation, service, and commissioning teams across all markets
• Establish operational structures to support national scaling
• Design regional field coverage models and staffing strategies
• Develop frameworks for launching new markets efficiently
• Improve installation speed, quality, and consistency
• Reduce service revisit rates through improved training and processes
• Develop field training programs and technical certifications
• Implement quality assurance programs across the field organization
• Partner with Product and Engineering to incorporate field feedback into product improvements

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading field operations, service, or installation organizations
• Experience scaling multi-market or national field teams
• Strong operational leadership and process improvement experience
• Based in the New York City area

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in HVAC, building systems, construction technology, energy systems, or hardware deployments
