VP, Engineering – HR Technology

Responsibilities

• Lead and build full-stack, enterprise-grade platforms using Python, Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Own and drive Low-Level Design (LLD) and High-Level Design (HLD) for distributed systems
• Architect and develop secure, compliant systems and scalable APIs
• Drive non-functional requirements including security, availability, scalability, and observability
• Lead engineering initiatives for HR, people-operations, and workforce-analytics data
• Partner with HR, Talent, and People Analytics teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Implement robust data-quality, lineage, and privacy controls for sensitive employee datasets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven track record of hands-on development in enterprise-scale systems
• Strong proficiency in Python or Java
• Deep experience with relational databases and NoSQL stores
• Experience with HRIS integrations and sensitive-data handling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with modern data engineering stacks including Snowflake and PowerBI
• Prior experience supporting HR operations technology platforms
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
