Fleek is building the infrastructure powering the global secondhand clothing trade through a B2B marketplace and AI systems. By digitizing the supply chain, Fleek helps vintage stores and retailers source graded inventory, saving millions of items from landfills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Fleek's AI initiatives at the heart of the product strategy
• Foster a culture of experimentation, agility, and high ownership
• Build and evolve the engineering organization structure to ensure scalability
• Expand the engineering team, primarily based in London
• Own and grow the Data function alongside the engineering organization
• Serve as a hands-on technical leader to guide architecture and execution
• Attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent
• Partner with product and business leadership to align engineering with company outcomes

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams in high-growth, scaling environments
• Strong technical foundation with a background in back-end engineering
• Proven ability to build product-focused and business-oriented engineering teams
• Experience overseeing data teams and managing data scientists
• Experience working with or building AI-driven products
• Strong leadership presence with a track record of inspiring high-performing teams
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills
• Entrepreneurial experience in a tech-driven scale-up or as a founder is advantageous
• Experience in an international marketplace business is a plus
