VP, Data Science - Cohort Modeling

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in developing predictive models for underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management
• Enhance and implement AI-enabled pricing processes and frameworks for commercial insurance
• Mentor and guide analytics staff across various modeling disciplines to drive innovation
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including actuarial, underwriting, product, and technology teams
• Ensure all analytics solutions comply with regulatory, data privacy, and internal company standards
• Advise the SVP of Cohort Modeling on strategic analytics and modeling initiatives

Requirements

• Advanced degree in data science, actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
• Deep professional experience in insurance modeling, pricing, and actuarial analysis
• Significant leadership history managing analytics, actuarial, or pricing teams
• Expert proficiency in machine learning and statistical analysis
• Proven experience leading business engagements and influencing senior stakeholders

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and executive audiences
• Demonstrated capability to translate complex data-driven insights into actionable business strategies
• Proven track record of driving analytics innovation within an insurance enterprise

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $163,000 to $237,000 based on skills and experience
