About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and lead a commercially focused data product strategy and roadmap to drive revenue and improve performance across editorial, commercial, and product teams
- Build and scale the company’s data products, data platform, operating model, and technical ecosystem
- Lead the evolution of the first-party data strategy, including customer identity, audience segmentation, and personalization
- Drive the productization of data to unlock new revenue streams and enhance engagement through recommendation capabilities
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of product leaders and specialists
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Editorial, Consumer, Commercial, and Technology to align on priorities and ensure successful delivery
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in product management, data product leadership, or executive-level roles
- Proven expertise in building and scaling data products and data-driven services
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including cloud data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, and data orchestration
- Experience delivering AI/ML-enabled products in partnership with data science teams
- Experience with customer data platforms (CDP), audience strategy, and first-party data ecosystems
- Knowledge of global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and implementing consent management frameworks
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing high-performing, cross-functional teams
