VP, Credit Management

Responsibilities

• Perform surveillance and monitoring of all counterparties including Swap and repo, Authorized Participants, FCMs, Custodians, and Transfer Agents
• Develop and implement best practices to reduce firm-wide risk
• Create and implement an in-house repository for all supporting data and files
• Conduct annual due diligence reviews and oversee the internal credit team
• Monitor money market fund sub-advisory relationships
• Perform daily surveillance of counterparties and execution-only brokers
• Update financial models and monitor firm-wide exposure daily
• Prepare quarterly updates for the credit committee

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in a credit analysis role at an asset manager or buy-side firm
• Proficiency in Excel with VBA and macro writing skills preferred
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Bridge, and Trade Web
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements
• Strong understanding of Credit Default Swap spreads
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and presentation skills
• Familiarity with securities regulations
