VP, Coverage Banker, Investment Banking

Responsibilities

• Assume significant responsibility for project and transaction execution, new business development, and firm growth.
• Guide clients through the capital raising process, including leading due diligence, drafting sessions, and preparing equity or debt offerings.
• Collaborate with clients, senior team members, and professional advisors on M&A and special situation transactions.
• Oversee the drafting of situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, and investor presentations.
• Manage day-to-day execution of M&A advisory, ECM, and strategic transactions while mentoring junior analysts and associates.
• Develop and maintain high-level client relationships at the CFO and VP Finance levels within target sectors.
• Manage regulatory interactions with the CSRC, SSE, SZSE, and other relevant government bodies for onshore transactions.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within Banking.
• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products, regulations, and credit approval processes.
• Proven experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, and securities.
• Ability to secure and maintain necessary CSRC licenses for regulated securities activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's Degree in Business.
• Deep sector expertise in areas such as TMT, Healthcare, Industrials, or Consumer & Retail.
• Series 7 and 63 licenses.
• HK SFC Type 6 licenses or qualifications.
