VP, Corporate Development

Responsibilities

• Develop unique perspectives on key categories within the crypto ecosystem and communicate strategic implications to leadership
• Engage with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to qualify opportunities
• Lead the execution of acquisitions and investments from inception to completion
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax, and People teams to drive due diligence and post-deal integration
• Establish and maintain relationships with blockchain entrepreneurs and investors to manage a high-velocity pipeline
• Collaborate with Business Development to forge strategic alliances
• Develop internal processes and data-driven backtesting for acquisition performance
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses for strategy and investing efforts

Requirements

• 10+ years in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or Corporate Finance
• Proven track record of proactive relationship building and driving proprietary deal flow
• Experience managing multiple complex deals simultaneously
• Background in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams
• Mastery of financial modeling, including three-statement analysis and valuation
• Ability to architect creative deal structures in undefined environments
• Sophisticated understanding of blockchain technology and traditional financial services
