VP, Business Operations and Transformation

Responsibilities

• Own the evolution of Blue J's operating system, including planning, decision-making, and execution frameworks.
• Design and implement scalable operating models, governance structures, and communication cadences.
• Lead the internal AI strategy to redesign workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and drive business transformation.
• Manage the internal systems strategy, technology ecosystem, and company-wide knowledge management.
• Drive high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives that span multiple departments.
• Partner with the Leadership Team to improve executive-level visibility, accountability, and alignment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business operations leadership, strategic transformation, or management consulting.
• Proven experience working within organizations of 300+ people.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing operating models and organizational systems.
• Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to optimize workflows and drive efficiency.
• Strong systems-thinking capabilities with a track record of solving complex, root-cause problems.
• Exceptional executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity near Toronto, Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-growth technology companies or private equity operating teams.
• Background in management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG).
• PMP or similar project management certification.
