VP - Business Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the domestic business development strategy to drive growth and market penetration.
• Build and convert a high-value opportunity pipeline to meet defined revenue and order-intake targets.
• Lead business development activities across multiple domains including Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, and Space & Cyber.
• Oversee end-to-end bid and proposal development, including win strategies and pricing approaches.
• Maintain senior-level relationships with UAE government entities and defense authorities.
• Monitor defense market trends, procurement policies, and competitive activity.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing business development teams.
• Produce executive-level reports on pipeline performance, market intelligence, and bid outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• 15–20 years of experience in the defense, aerospace, or advanced engineering sectors.
• Proven track record of securing major defense contracts and managing complex bids.
• Deep knowledge of UAE defense procurement processes and regulations.
• Strong understanding of defense technologies, systems, and operational requirements.
• Exceptional executive-level communication and negotiation skills.
