Voyage Optimization Analyst

Responsibilities

• Participate in building the optimisation user interface and service delivery
• Set up the processes for the service delivery
• Test the Route Optimization tool to ensure best outputs for stakeholders at sea and ashore
• Onboard vessels to the service and deliver the service to the vessels
• Train other members of the team on voyage optimization service delivery
• Analyze each passage to ensure vessels follow optimized routes for distance, speed, and weather
• Handle multiple stakeholders and provide clarification on optimization suggestions
• Generate post-voyage reports to demonstrate the impact of recommendations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar voyage optimization role
• Preferably experience from the deck side
• Strong understanding of commercial performance and the impact of weather and routes
• IT knowledge to assist with product development understanding
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Ability to train others
