Voyage Optimiser/Cargo Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement safe and efficient marine logistics to maximize commercial advantage
• Oversee a global portfolio of marine tonnage under various charter agreements
• Work closely with traders to maximize the financial performance of commercial agreements
• Monitor marine movements, demurrage implications, and oil loss
• Nominate oil movements, prepare documentation, and appoint cargo inspectors
• Ensure all marine equipment is properly vetted through the Marine Quality Assurance team
• Enter timely and accurate information on trades and voyages into trading systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Professional experience in Commercial Oil & Gas (e.g., hydrocarbon scheduling, voyage operations, or chartering)
• Ability to work after hours as needed to resolve operational issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across multiple time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of transaction accounting and commercial contracts
• Familiarity with the maritime industry
• Familiarity with hydrocarbon logistics
