About the Company
Project 26 Pennsylvania is a student and youth voter focused organization founded in 2023 to engage, register, educate, and mobilize young voters across the commonwealth.
Responsibilities
- Attend and report on relevant county meetings and develop relationships with county board of election offices
- Recruit fellow students to serve as poll workers for the Fall 2026 General Election
- Participate in voter registration drives and prepare campus-specific voter education materials
- Conduct spot checking and quality control for voter registration efforts
- Monitor county board of election websites, social media, and local press for changes affecting voters
- Coordinate regularly with Voter Protection leadership and campus fellowship teams
Requirements
- Active enrollment in a Pennsylvania 2 or 4 year institution
- Availability for 10 to 15 hours per week
- Experience voting on campus and participating in peer or issue-focused groups
- Creative approach to information sharing, design, and communication
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Ability to travel locally by car, rideshare, or public transit when needed
Benefits
- Compensation of $18 per hour
- Travel stipend or mileage reimbursement for role-specific travel
