Volunteer State Moderator

Responsibilities

• Grow membership by teaching members how to invite friends and family
• Clear the queue by approving or declining pending posts and member requests
• Moderate comments to ensure compliance with group rules and Facebook Community Standards
• Promote local and national events in support of the Activist team
• Drive group engagement by sharing news, political information, and interacting with members

Requirements

• Outgoing, dynamic, and uplifting leadership style
• Proficiency with Zoom, Slack, Facebook, and other social media platforms
• Access to a computer with internet
• Flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in campaigning or event organizing
• Passion for community organizing, public support, law, public policy, or government
