Volunteer Divisional Youth Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and support to Youth Leaders and members of the Otara Youth division
• Manage the Division to ensure a high performing team of Leaders and members
• Mentor and develop Assistant Divisional Managers, Youth Leaders, and Cadet NCOs
• Contribute to annual, term, nightly, and lesson programme planning
• Ensure implementation and adherence to all St John Policies and procedures
• Deliver Regional and District Level events as required
• Ensure activities are suitable, relevant, and engaging for all participants

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age with a clean criminal record
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
• Aptitude for working with diverse demographic groups
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with computers, internet, and email
• Ability to contribute a minimum of two hours per week
• Availability to attend overnight camps from time to time
