About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to Youth Leaders and members of the Otara Youth division
- Manage the Division to ensure a high performing team of Leaders and members
- Mentor and develop Assistant Divisional Managers, Youth Leaders, and Cadet NCOs
- Contribute to annual, term, nightly, and lesson programme planning
- Ensure implementation and adherence to all St John Policies and procedures
- Deliver Regional and District Level events as required
- Ensure activities are suitable, relevant, and engaging for all participants
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age with a clean criminal record
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Aptitude for working with diverse demographic groups
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers, internet, and email
- Ability to contribute a minimum of two hours per week
- Availability to attend overnight camps from time to time
